The Scriptures

The Holy Bible is divinely inspired by God and is God’s revelation of Himself to man; and in it are the principles by which we are to live, and the measure for our faith and doctrine.

Trinity

There is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in three manifestations: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He is the Son of God who was sent to this earth to redeem humanity from sin.  He was crucified, buried, resurrected, ascended to heaven, and is coming again to rapture the dead and living believers to an everlasting blessedness and joy with Himself, and the unbelievers to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment. The Holy Spirit glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ and during this age is to convict men of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service.

Salvation

Salvation involves the redemption and transformation of the total man (body, soul, and spirit), and is available freely to all who believe in Jesus Christ.  Those who receive Jesus Christ by faith are born of the Holy Spirit and thus become the children of God. There is no salvation apart from personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord.

Baptism

Water baptism by immersion is a symbol and testimony of the believer’s death to the power and bondage of sin, and a resurrection to a new life in Jesus Christ.

Communion

In the taking of Communion, we remember the incomparable love of God that was extended towards us in Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. All true believers and only believers should share in it.

The Kingdom

The Kingdom is the sovereign rule, reign, and authority of God in the life of believers.  The Kingdom of God is within us and is manifested on earth as we faithfully obey Christ and His teachings.
